A. The street location is 5500 block of Berry Creek and 5400 block of Cherry Creek ... There is not a stop sign on Berry Creek / Cross street Cherry creek and drivers are constantly getting into fender benders and road rage because the drivers on Berry Creek don't realize they need to yield and assume since there isn't a sign they don't have to yield or stop .. It is long over due for a stop sign to be placed on this block ..

An investigation was conducted on 11/24/15 at 8:15am, at 5400 Cherry Creek @ 5500 Berry Creek for a missing Stop Sign. Per Click Fix, the requestor stated that a Stop Sign is needed at the intersection. The streets are concrete paved with gutters in a residential area. The traffic volume at this time was moderate. Berry Creek is an east and west bound street that t-into Cherry Creek for north and south bound traffic. During the investigation, there was no notice of a Stop Sign at the intersection. After further investigation in EAM records, the record did not indicate an existing Stop Sign at this intersection. Neither street is controlled by a Stop Sign. While investigating the intersection, it was noted that there is a driveway at the top of the t-intersection. To improve traffic operations at this intersection, a Work Order will be sent to the Sign Shop to install a Stop Sign on the north east corner of 5400 Cherry Creek @ 5500 Berry Creek for west bound traffic on Berry Creek.
RECOMMENDATION:
A Work Order will be sent to the Sign Shop to install a Stop Sign on the north east corner of 5400 Cherry Creek @ 5500 Berry Creek for west bound traffic on Berry Creek.
OUTCOME:
Work order: 1185388 was created on 11/25/15 for the Sign Shop to install a Stop Sign on the north east corner of 5400 Cherry Creek @ 5500 Berry Creek for west bound traffic on Berry Creek. The scheduled date of completion is 12/9/15.
