Description
The house at 32 Pine St has the entire backyard filled with junk, unregisterd cars, a pig carcass and more. In addition, their side lot is completely unmaintained covered in trash, used condoms, hypodermic needles...
Thanks to the owner of 32 Pine St's utter disregard for upkeep, the area has become a haven for prostitutes, drug dealers, and other human waste. There is now spraypaint "tags" on the stone wall marking some scumbag's territory.
I won't post the owner's name, but everyone around here knows who he is and is tired of his utter disregard and lack of respect for his neighbors. Working personally with him did absolutely no good, so maybe this will.

I will try to get there today with Lori Lopez from LCI, who by the way is a great help to me. Keep sending me your concerns and I will make every effort to address each and every one.
It's great having so many pairs of eyes out in Fair Haven, Thank You!

The owner's name is Juan Cando (which is public knowledge); he lives in the house. The neighbors surrounding him all the way down the street have tried to work with him to clean up his property and help prevent crime from happening in and around our families' homes. The neighbors even offered to pay for an electrician to come out and install motion lights along his stone retaining wall (the Lewis St side) where the prostitutes and drug dealers gather. He finally objected because he was concerned about the couple of dollars a month it might cost to have the lights come on. Yet, he has no problem cranking his 2000 Watt DJ system all the time from 7AM to 2AM. He has no problem having a refrigerator running in his BACKYARD to keep his beer cold, which they start drinking at 7AM with the DJ system blasting waking up the entire neighborhood. But, a couple lights on a motion detector break his bank. Give me a break.
If you go to his property right now, you will see knee high weeds and trash all over. The front strips of property and all down Lewis St. Those are just the pieces of property that WE have to come in contact walking the sidewalks and getting in and out of our cars. The rest of his property is open to interpretation.
Juan has now set a bad example for the neighbor next door to him at 36 Pine St, who is following fast in his footsteps – with the music blasting at all hours, the parties, the teen drinking, consistently driving down the street the wrong way. The utter lack of respect for the rest of the neighborhood is appalling. I hope that the rest of the neighbors can help and firmly insist that we want a clean, nice, quiet neighborhood for our small children and families and set a good example for Juan to follow.
Thank LCI for coming out and making Juan remove the illegal junk yard (i.e. the broke down, car collection). Thank you.
