Is there any new status on this issue? Our main entrance also seems to be missing the water meter.

The water meter was paid for by residents of Springfield some years ago. This issue concerns me greatly as children walk by the front entrance sign and there are holes and sharp edged pipes. I am afraid someone may get seriously hurt. Please take care of this issue before someone is injured.

A prioritized work order is in place for this issue. Repairs will take place according to their priority. Thank you for your patience.

Per DeKalb Watershed, service renewal still needs to be completed to finish this project.

What is a "service renewal?" Does something else have to be done outside of Dekalb County and City Dunwoody responsibility?

DeKalb still needs to replace the black plastic lines with copper, from the main to the meter.

Thanks for the work on this issue and for the coordination with Dekalb County Water. When the line was repaired, the old line was not removed and is still sticking out of the ground. I saw the crew making the repairs and I specifically told them about the old pipe sticking out of the ground, but they did not seem too interested in resolving. The end result is that the pipe is still sticking out of the ground and I could not move it - maybe because it is buried too deep. I have enclosed a picture from today. I do appreciate all of the help on this issue
