Description

I reported this several weeks ago, received a notice that issue was closed and overgrown lot request completed.

It has NOT been. the weeds have not been cut at all and it is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS situation. When stopped on Rockfalls at Riverside, the driver CANNOT see to safely pull out onto Riverside Drive. Driver has to slowly creep out onto Riverside Drive and risk being slammed into by cars going between 25 and 45 mph. PLEASE correct this problem by having the owner mow NOW or the City mow NOW.

I originally reported this problem. Then the city wrote back asking the exact street address. I had told them Rockfalls and Riverside Drive. All the weeds are on the city easement. By the time, I got the address of the adjoining property and sent it to them, the city had closed the report permanently.

This is a problem every year!!! Tall weeds, can't see onto Riverside Drive. Liz M. of Rockfalls Drive.

Absolutely an annual problem. Previous owners of house on SW corner of Rockfalls and Riverside kept it cut reguarly. New owners do not. City should put that corner on their regular schedule for cutting and bill the owners since they do not choose to mow it themselves. I believe the owners will be liable if there is an accident at that intersection.
