Oh, that's really a shame! Telegraph and 56th is the closest entrance to Hwy 24 for us in N. Oakland, and I use that intersection 2-4 times per week (turning left onto 56th from Shattuck). I've never witnessed anything unsafe, and the street has speed pumps. But I think crossing Shattuck at 56th can be challenging. It seems like a good route, but safety of the intersection should be studied or a better route encouraged.
