Still a lot of speeding vehicles here.

The lack of crosswalks at such a large intersection that is a main thoroughfare now is a major concern. There is no safe way to cross to access Melrose which is a main route to Godfrey Park for children and also to the bus stops at Mecartney and Melrose.

Lack of stop signs down Maitland Dr create a route for people heading down to Harbor Bay Pkwy to speed. This needs to be addressed ASAP before someone gets hurt.

We need marked crosswalks and speed bumps. Seems like the City is dragging its feet.

It's been pretty crazy lately. There's been a lot more motorists flying down Maitland in the recent weeks.

Public Works, Alameda Police, and the City’s Transportation Planning Unit are developing a list of locations for traffic calming measures for inclusion in Alameda’s 2017-2019 budget. Given tight budget constraints, the list is being generated and prioritized based on a location’s history of reported collisions, police citations, its relationship with existing transportation plans and improvements, and suggestions from members of the public.
