Description

The new stop light now is causing a major traffic backup problem especially when cars exit the Leeland VRE station going toward Deacon Road, which is most of the traffic. The stop light is almost 2 minutes long for the traffic going in this direction of Deacon Rd which causes this problem. Preference is given to the traffic going toward in the opposite direction, and the left turn lane into Primmer House Rd. This makes no sense. Now the people who are trying to exit the VRE lot have to wait alot longer. There are hundreds of cars exiting this lot. Maybe the left turn lane into Primmer House Road is for the morning traffic to the school, but that is not the case after 5:00 PM in the afternoon when the trains are coming back to Leeland Station.. Please look into this asap. Thanks
