I believe that Downtown Lansing, Inc. is responsible for the music downtown. I'd suggest a call to their office to ask them to either turn it down or off.

Please turn this music off! I have never encountered such an annoyance in a community. It's the same music on a loop all day every day! John legend is great but if I hear "All of Me" one more time I'm going to hurl myself out of my window. Please turn the music off for the sake of my sanity.

Call the police. 483-4600, choose 1, then 2. They can send someone to stop or at least lower the music. You can remain anonymous.

I have found the music strange it still plays and feels kind of creepy on a quiet day with few people on the street ,it does not seem to have an audience. A "muzac" type service that plays soft background music that they program to be different everyday if they need to play music. I am not sure it's necessary. Talented street performers would be a better source of street music.
