Thank you DPW. You'll find it here and there on both sides of the road from the parking lot to the monument. There are certain particularly bad pockets, such as the little parking nook near the top outside the closed gate to the other route up and down as well as long the south side of the road near the monument where people park against the bushes and therefore shield the trash they throw out. I would love to try some innovative video methods of capturing both litter and license plate in these areas. If that's too expensive I would gladly lead a funding drive to pay for this. If people want to throw out trash but feel they might get caught, that would be an improvement. Because I don't see us changing their bad habits.
