It is extremely upsetting to see this morning, Friday June 22 the last day of school, 2 pairs of shoes STILL hanging from the power lines that hang over where cars of teachers park. They were noticed on Monday and are still hanging there, as a parent who drops off and picks up her child every day, I am disgusted to see something like this go untouched, especially since the parents, teachers and principle work very hard to keep Nathan Hale a great school environment. Today being the last day of school we have more parents dropping off and picking up than usual, some who may not normally do this. How horrible it is for them to drop kids off and have to see this. I can only hope something is done about this soon. While we are on this subject, the parking lot for Green Manor playground, across the street from the school, has not 2 pairs but 3 or 4 pairs hanging from the power lines where parents drop kids off to school and frequent the playground after school.
