Description
There is a beautiful kiosk for posters on the southeast corner of the intersection of Whitney Avenue and Audubon Street. See map. See photo. About a year ago, maybe more, someone put a match to some of the paper attached to the kiosk, intentionally setting the kiosk afire. The fire department quickly came and put the fire out. They used axes to cut out the burning wood on the kiosk. This left a gaping hole through which since then, sadly, some people have placed garbage.
Please ask whoever is responsible for the kiosk (Town Green? City of New Haven? Audubon Street Arts District?) to repair this damage.
You can see the hole in the kiosk in the attached photo. It is below the yellow piece of paper and above the orange piece of paper.
Thank you very much.

Oh geez. How horrible ! Why don't you ask the people at the Best Buddy Program that's located across Whitney on the second floor ? They look out the window all the time , or is that the cardboard cut outs?
This is a good place for some cameras

This is still in use.
There may be a hole in it...but all of the paper covers it up.
Great reuse of existing infrastructure...Bravo!
