Description

I'm not sure if this is the correct category for this request (if it is not, please direct it to the correct one). Since earlier this summer, construction has been occurring at 1316 1/2 Shepherd Street NW. Unfortunately, the workers have not been following DDOT rules. Currently, there is a debris container without any proper signage or "Emergency No Parking" signs. This has been a recurring theme for the past months. I have multiple photos of instances where there have been debris containers, plyboards, etc. taking up parking spaces when not legally permitted. Moreover, when the workers leave, they put up cones "saving" the parking spaces all night for the next day. It's easy to remove them, but when they come in the morning, they will again put up the orange cones "saving" the parking spaces.

There has only been one period of time (may have been back in September) when they had the proper signage but it was only for two weeks, and they had multiple prior violations. I saw a sign there today, for 10/24/2015 - 11/4/2015, but there is clearly a debris container illegally taking up a space.

Please help.
