It seems as thiugh the timing was adjusted within the last month as this problem didn't exist until recently. Is the road under DOat or local control?

The City and GDOT have been working jointly to identify a timing plan that balances the needs of Windward Parkway and GA400. Various adjustments were made over a period of two to three months; however, those efforts were not successful. Ultimately it was determined that the timing plan for the entire corridor would need to be changed in order to account for recent increases in traffic volume and changes in traffic patterns in that area. Thus, the City and GDOT entered into an agreement whereby GDOT would use its data collection, analysis and modeling capabilities to help devise the optimal timing pattern for the corridor.
