Why is this encampment still there? It was reported months ago. If one is hostile, a stay away order needs to be placed. What the hell is Oakland doing? ABSOLUTELY nothing.

They will not take care of it. This will still be here months or years f on now.

Its going to take awhile, but it can be done. Call everyday if u have to. Address the mayor once a week. Whatever it takes.

That's because no one has any solutions and everyone is making excuses.

Still here. It's blocking the guy who owns the business here from getting to the side Bay Doors. He said he's called the police and no one will help him.

My comments keep being moderated and then not publish. This is really bothersome. I was just saying that this is a disgrace and I Wish we could show the true face of OAkland to counter the videos only showing the nice areas and "First fridays" event and such. The reality of Oakland is the one in the picture above and no one is doing anything.

This is unbelievable and too common at the same time. When people make video to "Sell" Oakland with First Friday, Downtown and all the nice areas of Oakland, it makes me want to counter with a video showing exactly what you have captured above, the numerous drug dealers and shootings that occur daily. I'm tired of the Cty trying to portray Oakland as the place to be when really there are only a certain number (and limited) of areas that are OK. Everywhere feels and smells like Sh$t.

There is only one homeless guy here now. His name is Drew. He is nice but I'm concerned because he burns stuff in a makeshift fire ring which can be a danger to the recycle plant next door and to the building next door.

Please remove all this trash here. I think we should move some of the homeless to the Oakland hills and let them deal with this mess.

Without your actions of removing this it has grown to more people and what will it take? A fire that destroys the buildings around it. It’s a health hazard.
