Description

I have left two messages for the Manager with no return call. I believe my taxes feed your paycheck. Please return your calls.

We haven waited more than 15 years to have Concord paved. It is one of the worst streets in New Haven, torn up by CT Transit, restaurant delivery trucks and speeding lighthouse traffic. The whole street is potholes that are "fixed" every few weeks month after month.

The City decided to short shift the job by milling it instead of tearing it up, leaving curbs with one inch protection from the road and drains (in a flood zone) uneven, blocked and essentially useless.

The most idiotic part is the road was not even fully milled. The worst areas are as they were even prior to the milling.

I have tripped and fallen several times on the tree torn, weed cracked side walks all over the Cove and have watched it happen to many residents. Huge liability. Instead of fixing what needed to be fixed, the City pains hundreds of thousands of dollars to cut and trim trees.

Could you respond immediately? And return the phone calls? I would add the apron of my driveway will need to be totally redone as a result of the "milling".

Thank you.

TAKE CARE OF THE COVE BEFORE YOU WASTE ANOTHER DIME ON THE MONEY PIT OF TWEED.
