Description
The city workers were out on Thursday working in the area of 3rd Avenue and 22nd Street East. They had the street blocked off for the day, and left what is akin to something found in a field surrounding Prince Albert!
I drove the street early Friday morning, had to slow down to about 10 km/hour or less, now, you have to basically stop your vehicle and crawl across the mess they have left. It does not matter which direction you are traveling, but it seems the south lane is the worst. There are no signs erected, nothing, I pity the driver that does not know they are there during evening hours! I normally travel this street 2-3 times a day, as we live in the area. I have now begun to take alternate streets, and I recommend others do the same until it is fixed. By the way, I did not see any attempt to fix this situation at all on Friday.
This is an absolute shame on a main thoroughfare in Prince Albert.

In response to Mr. Hermiteowitch, “No“ I did not phone the City prior to Friday, as they only ripped the street up on Thursday. I assumed, incorrectly, that they would be back at some point Friday to work on it.
I am happy to report, that it is now fixed and no longer resembles a ‘back 40‘ road! From this citizen, “Thank You“ to the City for making this area driveable again!
