Why is no one ever caught in the act of dumping loads such as this one?

Should check some of the businesses on Pearmain Street and Pippin Street. This mess is ridiculous.

@Bennett - Sometimes it's done in the early morning hours. The City should have a few Public Work Dept. employees patrol hot spots for a while. If they start catching people this mess will stop. I have a few pictures of trucks loaded with trash I've followed but I've never seen the loads posted. One guy I followed from Russet Street to Pearmain Street to 98th to the freeway. He might have come back or dumped somewhere else.

Cameras on street corners may be another alternative. Just think how much it cost City to clean up these mess. Upfront cost of Camera installation will pay in the long run.

Another case off See Click Not Fixed. It's great that the tires are gone but what about the rest of the crap blocking the street.

Why is it necessary to micromanage this type of outrage/crime when it is not the citizen, business owner or property owner's job to handle this crimal act? I honestly do not want my "take away' to be the City of Oakland is incompetent, negligent or does not care about East Oakland vs Oakland. Anyone else have thoughts on this #fail?

This is the way West Oakland is treated also. Wouldn't happen if it was near a city leaders home, if it did it would probably be cleaned up in a matter of hours.

So far from 5 year of experience in East Oakland and 15 years living in Montclair, which would be defined as "where the leaders/rich live", I am going with "not competent + do not care + cannot perform + (excuses XYZ) + "it was like that when I got here" + "some other department is at fault" + ........................................................................endless loop.... error 504 - therefore do not take this personally - Oakland Gov is equal opportunity in this #fail
