A large branch fell last night and smashed into Hillsborough St, there is a lot of debris in the street

I heard a large branch fall near the corner of Hillsborough and Snow a few weeks ago, as well.

I just moved out from CC. This tree was brought to their attention. The maintenance man said they won't do anything unless forced to by the City, and if the City of Raleigh makes them take it down, we should expect a rent increase. I found this deplorable. It doesn't take an arborist to know this tree is rotting and dying. The tree just across the street on Snow was in the same condition, the City of Raleigh did issue a nuasance report making them take it out. This dying tree is dangerous, you can see Maintenance has pulled the giant branches off the street to the property edge.
