this issue has not changed. i have driven through that intersection several times in the past few days, and it's no better than it was when i first reported it. it's a ridiculously short green light for northbound traffic on prospect. trumbull has by far a longer green light, and southbound prospect street traffic also has more time than northbound traffic, since they have a left turn arrow at the beginning of the cycle. especially after getting through the prospect/grove intersection, which is always so busy with so many students crossing (some against the light), the northbound prospect street traffic needs to be able to move well through the canal/trumbull intersection!!!

still no different/better than when i first reported this issue. my solution and advice to others: avoid going north through this intersection. my suggestion to the town: take another look at this and balance the timing for northbound traffic. prospect is the major street in this intersection, but the northbound prospect traffic gets the least amount of time (and an inadequate amount of time) when the light finally turns green.
