According to Chesapeake Public Schools, the Western Branch Middle School is listed at 85% capacity, yet the 8th graders have 31 kids in their honors English class, 35 kids in their honors science class and 36 kids in their honors history class. Can you imagine that many teenage bodies in this tiny room? What would 100% capacity look like? How can we expect our teachers to teach and our kids to learn if we don't give them the tools or the space to be successful?
