Description
The food truck at the corner of LeMoyne and California runs a gas powered generator that is loud and disruptive. The fumes are also a problem. They dump their oil into the sewer, and it is generally an eyesore at the entrance to our park. Garbage is strewn about. Their management does nothing to fix the problems.

There is another one on the inner drive across from Burger King creating the same problems.
Just when I thought the park was getting cleaner...so sad.

This is an ongoing issue for us - we have tried all avenues, but the United cooks of Humboldt Park seem to have some special status that allows them to skirt established ordinances. We have contacted the alderman, the Park Concessions management, who oversee these food trucks, and all to no avail.
I am about to give up, and I think that is what they are hoping for - that I just tire myself out, and give up...
