Hmmm. I reported a deep pothole to Branford's Public Works via the internet. The report was acknowledged immediately & the pothole filled within a week.

I had the same experience as Lynn. I reported a broken curb around a sewer to BPW's department via a phone call, and it was fixed within a week. So no more communication methods that require more money for the town. If it ain't broke....
