Description
These signs are everywhere. On every pole, mailbox, paperbox, EVERYTHING. I called the guy and he said if I took them down you know what will happen to me? Called non-emergency New Haven Police and they say it is legal to put signs up on poles. It looks disgraceful. This guy needs to be fined.

Did you get the cop's name from the non emergency number that you called ? Or did you talk to a citizen dispatcher ? It is ILLEGAL to post any kind of a sign on a utility pole,the poles that hold the street lights and the wires up -

SCF had a similar issue last year. It's not legal to affix signs to trees, mailboxes, etc. so it's OK to remove them. Talk is cheap. He won't do anything.

You will see these signs everywhere. Stand still long enough, one will be on you. lol! I have tried taking them down but that quick he puts them up again. They are in every town from Madison to Milford including Guilford, Branford and the Haven's.

I think this is Mr.Scott of the Antarctic, who a few winters ago was very busy putting his little Scott Flag on every car that had snow on it,even ones that didn't have snow on them..A resident of East Rock made a few statements about the guy / reported here , at ClikFix.I don't think it was anything too serious,but a strange encounter and stranger conversation

I do not have a phone number handy but if you live anywhere between Madison down to Milford and everywhere in between you do not have to look far to find a flyer with the number. This guy is obsessed with putting these signs up. I tried to talk to him to tell him if he spent that amount of time and made the flyer more professional and put them where it is legal, he might get more business. I take them down whenever I see them but he puts them up that fast. And he uses tons of tape so it is difficult to get them down. It makes ALL our towns look horrible, let alone litter when they fall down. He has to stop this.
