Apparently Socks may have been unwittingly "rescued" by a neighbor's guest. (Neighbor is out of town). If you know anyone who recently "rescued" a cat please check. He is ancient, very ill and needs his daily meds. Though he may look like a stray due to his condition, he is super affectionate and part of our family.

Recuer had Socks euthanized.
