Description

They're at it again. Private Garbage pickup company at 5:35AM.

Several people posted about this about three years ago and it stopped. Now it is starting again. They were here today at 5:35

What part of illegal don't they understand? Do they need to be sued?

I am all for the gentle approach but at this point this garbage hauler has already been informed, changed its ways and is now resuming illegal hours. At this point they should be cited by police

When are police going to cite them? Reading over in East Rock - they are having similar problems.

It is one thing to show up early, it is another thing to start doing it again after you know that residents are really disturbed by it and have spoken out and after you've been told to stop. At that point, police violation pad should be out, citing them for every violation.

Is this not a quality of life issue? Is this garbage company not a nuisance under the PD's quality of life spiel or is that police policy only for harassing the homeless, poor and black people?

Please cite these renegade garbage collectors
