I agree that it is very bad; I ride a motorcycle and it is very difficult to turn from Middletown onto the bridge -- It is almost like off-roading on a street bike. I don't understand why they didn't fix this section when they did the rest of Middletown Ave.
That section is highly trafficked. Not only with commuters and locals, but all of the city trucks and whatnot that traverse back and forth from Public Works and the town dump all day long. Oh, and every single First Student bus drives it; their "headquarters" is right down the street.
The city has recently milled the surface of State St from James St to the Hamden line. Would it be too much to ask if they could include Ferry St between State St and the bridge over the Amtrak/Conrail tracks? The area between NAPA Auto Parts and the gas station is very bad.
We are closing older 2012-2016 Pothole issues in order to focus on current pothole issues. Many of the older issues were addressed through our Streets Division but were never closed. If your pothole issue has not been addressed, please open a new See Click Fix issue. Thanks!
