Description

There should be a bike route along Elm Street through downtown. Drivers (many of whom are from out of town and use it to get to the Interstate) treat this wide, straight street as a highway; consequently it is noisy, smelly, and dangerous for anyone not in a car, especially cyclists. A bike line here would benefit all sorts of citizens who cycle (particularly minorities), as well as students at Yale, as Elm goes straight through the campus.
