The homeless issue is bad around Civic Center and Lakeside area as well. There needs to be some City appointed Homeless Outreach Ambassadors like they have in downtown SF. OPD needs to have some bike patrols police the area.

As always Baddragon, thanks for the post. The homeless issue is also bad on MLK , behind TARGET, home depot, most the parks and our city leaders don't give a c...because they don't live near a camp. I for one am so tired of the do nothing. It's not working. Giving them tents, is not working. Letting them do as they please, is not working. I second that on Operation Dignity.

This problem is getting worse not better. The most obvious person to me is the woman who sleeps on the sidewalk of 14th next to the Victorian mansion on the Harrison corner of the lake. I have not seen the OPD bike patrols for weeks, not since June and we used to see them every morning around the lake - I go around the lake daily so keep an eye on what's up and what or who's new.

How many are currently living around the lake 30, 40 more.. Must be nice no rules, no taxes surprised they haven't given them a tent.
