At the beginning of Aug we had some kids break our tree in half. We don't know exactly who but two girls came up to our door late at night reporting that some kids had done it.
I called our association for help with getting the tree replaced and after following up with them again today they recommended I reach out to the city of Algonquin. Please let me know next steps

was opened to remove the stump and replaced the tree. Unfortunately
there are around 1,500 trees ahead of you on the list due to the
amount of trees lost because of the Emerald Ash Borer. But once
your number comes up, I will mail out the information for you to pick
