Description
Why are they not picking up the yard waste in Rice Military, this is now three weeks ago.
If there's a question as to why there
is illegal dumping, it might have to do with the City not honoring their
part of the contract. The contract is taxpayers pay taxes, the City agrees to perform services, in this case pick up the trash.

It got picked up @ 1845 (6;45 pm) by a "Lawndale" crew who said they were filling in for the regular westside crew who's trucks weren't running or guys had quit.
Last night another neighbor reported that their recycling had not been picked up on Blossom.
Last Monday the garbage on the westside of Reinicke was missed, my neighbor heard the trucks works a couple streets over. He went over told the driver about the missed cans, to which the reply "thats impossible" was repeated three times. They did however come over to take a look and collected the can just before 7:00 pm.
I see a private contract in the near future that will undoubtedly cost more than the $5 a month the SWD asked for and shouldve been charged all along.
Nothing is free and Houston shouldn't have expected garbage collection to be so. The problem is, responsible management is from City Council to PWE is hard to come by.
