I'm going to reach out to the new-ish District 9 Supervisor, Sargent Cruz. Let's hope he's as responsive as Sgt. Vinny was. The big fines are in place so let's hope they put together an action plan that works.

I counted a parade of about 50 dirtbikes, quads, regular motorcycles tearing down Chatham St towards Front St, and turning left onto Downing St (obviously not stopping at stop sign). And this has been happening all summer long. The night before I was driving over Grand Ave bridge from the heights and was stuck behind a guy (yes, an adult not a teen) doing a wheelie on his dirtbike - my thought was, as always, how are the cops not witnessing this?! I see it all the time and it blows my mind that Fair Haven is supposedly policed and monitored and yet this quality of life issue has persisted for YEARS. YEARS.

I have a video of 28 dirt bikes and quads driving erratically down Eastern St around 5:30 pm on August 28. I plan to share it at the Quinnipiac East Management Team meeting on September 1 at Ross Woodward School. Hopefully these jerks were part of a roundup of bikes by the WHPD and NHPD on 8-30.

Be careful when taking videos and showing them at a public meeting because you do not know who you are dealing with, but is up to you.

I've heard what often sounds like an Indy 500 late at night in this area many times. Not sure if it's cars or bikes in each instance. Once I saw a swarm of those little racing cars bursting from the McDonald's on Route 80 next to Walmart. These people are dangerous. One once blew through our stop sign and hit an innocent car on Quinnipiac St.

He will respond to emails and calls. If you report a known ATV or dirt bike location to him, he will investigate and confiscate the machines.
