A Public Services crew has investigated this matter. We met several residents living nearby and took the opportunity to tell them why leaking vehicles were a problem, pointed out the separated storm drains and emphasized the fact that kitty litter and drip buckets were only a temporary solution: Leaking vehicles really needed to be repaired. Educational stormwater fliers were left at most of the houses along the street. Another site visit will be made next week.

I'm dubious that the truck's owner has dealt with the leak. Still parking there and still fresh stains on the pavement.

To SCF: Thank you for your concern. The Stormwater Program Coordinator went to the site (11-13-2015, about 9:00 AM), but the truck was not present. The owner was notified by letter that the vehicle needed to be repaired to end the illicit discharge to the City's storm drain system. The DPS will continue to follow up on this issue until it is corrected.
