I have HAD it with police-sanctioned speeding and the allowing of New Haven's unique left-on-red-lights rule by the cops on towing days. Just now--again--i witnessed a dangerous display of speeding, red-light-running and racing led by a police car. This POLICE car was trailed, as usual on towing days, by 3 speeding tow trucks competing/racing down narrow residential streets to snap up the cars of those who forget to move on street-cleaning day. It is a huge danger to pedestrians and cars alike, and a flouting of the law with full knowledge and under the eyes of the cops. Next time, on towing day, i'll wait outside with my camera, record it, and put it on social media. enough is enough. Those painted trucks and salivating drivers, like vultures, will make a dramatic video as they drag-race behind the cops.
