people are so Ignorant!! Why have Dogs if you don't treat them like the social animals they are!!!! Call the police, they eventually have to do something!!!!

I believe Norwood does have an ordinance in place that if a dog or dogs bark for up to 30min you can make a complaint & the cop will either issue a citation or the Owners will be given their 1st & only warning. There's NOTHING worse than dogs being outside from 7a-8p barking ask day because the Owners don't want to be bothered by their own pets, but to make their neighbors deal with their problem is flat out ignorant! Dogs that continuously bark whenever they're let out & kept outside to bark is beyond rude & that NOISE starts grating on your nerves like nails on a chalkboard! I'm a dog owner myself & it's called TRAINING! My Dogs never bark & in the off chance they do they're told to be quiet & they so or they're brought in immediately! I know I've told a couple problem dogs that bark constantly ask day long to shut up & they bark more & have even growled beating their teeth! If you don't want to train your dog's to not bark, then buy a shock collar. I don't condone them, but why should other people & neighbors have to deal with your untrained pets! Not to mention, you shouldn't have to bring this issue up your neighbor more than 1x! They should start working on fixing the problem as soon as it's brought to their attention, that's the respectable thing to do!!!

I've been dealing with the same thing! I'm on Cleveland Ave & there's a herd of dogs on Seminole Ave that bark non-stop ALL DAY! I think from what I've been able to see they have 4 or 5 dogs. They put them all out anywhere from 530a-9a & leave them out till 9p-10p EVERY SINGLE DAY! It's gotten to the point that I pray for rain, because they don't seem to put them out as early or leave them out as long when it rains. I, honestly, don't know how no one has called the cops on them because that's all you hear all day is their untrained, loud mouthed, barking beasts! I love animals, I have dogs of my own & I know they probably consider them pets, but they're NOT PETS, if they spend 99% of their time outside away from the owners/family! When you tell them to shut up they bark more! My neighbor, a few doors down, has a Pit that'd bark only when it was out for a little while on/off throughout the day & the people with the herd of dogs, behind them, (4-5 dogs) would fight with them because they couldn't stand their 1 dog barking, yet we've had to deal with their non-stop herd of dogs barking from sun up to sundown for over 1yr now! It's BS!

They clearly have no respect for any of us (their neighbors) if they think this kind of behaviors acceptable!! How do people excuse this? Are they so ignorant they feel no one else's dogs can bark sporadically throughout the day but their dogs can bark for 12-14hrs per day?!?! Do they think they're the only people home during the day?? Can they truly say "My animals are pets even though we spend no time with them, don't train them to sit quietly & respect their surroundings & put them outside ALL DAY so everyone else in the neighborhood has to deal with what we're not doing" (AKA training our pets)?! WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEIR BLATANT IGNORANCE & LAZINESS?!?! Pets that sit outside, alone ALL DAY & bark incessantly aren't pets they're animals. Pets will stop barking when told to be quiet, animals don't! Therefore, they're herd of dogs are animals, not pets. If I hear my dogs bark once, I only have to tell them to be quiet 1x & they stop barking, their dogs bark like the skies falling when told to shut up! It's beyond out of control! It's ridiculous!

WHEN IS ENOUGH, ENOUGH?! When will this family realize they're festering a problem instead of dealing with it properly?! If they can't or won't train their animals, then hire someone or find them new homes with a family thatll spend time with them, not open the door, push them outside for the ENTIRE DAY & make everyone else deal with their obvious problem!!!! If they refuse to train them to be outside & not bark, THEN KEEP THEM INSIDE & LET THEM BOTHER YOU ALL DAY! The neighbors shouldn't have to deal with your animals all day! The bottom lines laziness! They wanted these dogs, yet they're so lazy & ignorant, they believe it's ok to make other people deal with their dogs mouths because they refuse to put the time into training them! I wouldn't doubt these dogs bark out of sheer boredom & wanting their families attention!!

I'm NOT putting up with it anymore! I'm reporting them. They wake my whole house up, they keep my whole house up at night, etc, etc, etc... & I know they've been told about it & yet they continue to do what they want to do with NO RESPECT FOR ANYONE ELSE! As I said it's BS & it ends today!
