Description

I have enjoyed the sand sculpture prominently displayed in Moore Square Park since its inception during Artsplosure. However, I am now fearful for the passing population that now encounter this home for Hornets as well as other small rodents. I would not be so concerned if this sculpture was similar to a corral reef which is a living, growing, beautiful home for others. On the contrary though it is similar to other parts of the city that are left abandoned and subject to decay & deterioration without a second thought. I think it is time for the sculpture to be removed for the well being of Individuals who use this park daily. The sculpture as well as the park continue to detract from what Raleigh is trying to do, which is to be a beautiful place.
