Description

A project to widen US 7 to provide a turning lane near Shelburne Vineyard has resulted in temporary removal of shoulder of Southbound lane and use of northbound shoulder for motor traffic during weekday construction. Long distance cyclists can avoid this spot by taking Bostwick road westward at the light just south of Shelburne Museum entrance; this becomes Greenbush Road in Charlotte and rejoins US 7 in Ferrisburgh. Another option is to use Falls Road/Mt Philo Road to the 4-way flasher in Charlotte, then right on Hinesburg Road and Left onto Church Hill Road to rejoin US 7
