Description
Sammy's Place bar has very loud music playing for hours every weekend. They often have a live band playing outside, so loud that neighbors have to close their windows. They do not have permits for live music, and the sound is more like a night club than a neighborhood bar. THis would be fine every once in a while, but not every weekend. They have a pit for pig roasting set up next to where the garbage dumpsters are, which is a health hazard. Police are regularly called by the neighbors, but do not seem to respond as the music continues as loud as ever.

loitering, drunkenness, and lewd behavior seems to be the standard we set with these 'neighborhood bars'. and it's not only that. people become very intimidating when they become so intoxicated. you can reason with the person but you cannot reason with alcohol. it's a sad situation and it doesn't do much for our quality of life! has anyone talked to the owners?
don't you just love it when they call it northern liberties?
