Description
when turning onto Creedmoor road from Mapleton, you cannot see oncoming traffic util they are already upon you. The view is blocked by overgrown trees and shrubs, as well as uncut grass. The cars are always going at least 45 mph OR HIGHER, so it is very dangerous trying to pull out from Mapleton. There have been a number of accidents over the years, and that was even before the trees & shrubs were so overgrown. We currently drive about a mile out of the way just to go thru the area where there is a stoplight because it is so scary.

I don't know why this issue has been closed. There has not been one tree or shrub cut back to improve sight of oncoming traffic. As a matter of fact, there was another accident at this intersection within the last 2 weeks. Unless the trees and shrubs are cut back, it will only get worse. Cars come down from 540 speeding faster that 45 mph, the posted speed limit, and you cannot pull out before you are run over by them! Please have someone cut everything back before there are more accidents

This issue has been referred to the homeowners association, who owns the vegetation in question and needs to remove it or prune it. Our inspectors have notified them and will follow up to make sure it gets taken care of by the homeowners.
