Description
This is a ditch that is forming right near an existing drainage ditch. The water draining from 4th Ave NW runs down the side of the pavement on Springdale Place rather than being directed into the actual drainage ditch. I reported this problem 6 months ago and was told that there is no problem/ they couldn't see what I meant. Here is an image of the problem. I have a video, but it isn't uploading. Rain is eroding the edge of the road. It isn't big now, but it is getting bigger, and it will be a problem if people step in this new ditch or cars get a tire stuck in it.

Per Surface Water Dept review: The vegetated shoulder is showing a very small amount of erosion at the pavement edge. This issue is being referred to our Street Maintenance Department to determine if a gravel or a pavement patch is required to keep the road surface from being undermined. Rather than concentrating the flow and direction it in one location at the beginning of the ditch, it is recommended to allow the flow to reach the ditch via the length of the soulder as it appears to do now.
