The homeless are out of control. Something needs to be done.

I recognize that everybody's got to have somewhere to call home, even if it is a car. I have no problem with someone living on the street near my business as long as they don't cause problems/dump trash/crap on the sidewalk(!). In fact, every time I see a new car/house on my street, I have a standard welcoming/warning speech that I give, and it's usually very well-received. Most of the folks I talk to are fully on-board with it.

Yes, people need homes, but the majority of the homeless bring all the stuff that seems to go with it. The illegal dumping, the trash builds up and of course the unsanitary conditions and illegal activity. That's why this ongoing problem needs to be addressed. Not sure about the policies of living in a car, but don't think it's legal on a public street. Wal Mart allows it I think.

Sweet! A couple of guys from the city and a big truck showed up this morning and got everything cleaned up. I appreciate the city's hustle on this one.
