Description

On the street in front of our driveway a 8" diameter potholes opened in the street overnight. Looks much deeper than superficial.

I was glad to see some asphalt got put in this hole a few days after the posting. But, surprise, it is sinking back into the pothole. So, is anybody going to find this suspected water leak and fix it? Or, must I contact the water company?

I contacted the city online and about the water leak and pothole there should be response in 5 days.

I also called the city of Atlanta Water and reported the suspected water leak and they issued an emergency ticket so hopefully they'll be out soon. Thanks!

Thanks for the effort, but it is far from closed. It is, in truth, double the size it was before. Haven't seen hide nor hair.

I'm sorry for closing it I thought it was repaired now. Since the city said to be online they response was 5 business days from the date I reported it.

The City of Atlanta GA just emailed me saying that this issue is fixed now. The service request on there website showing repair completed and it has been closed out.

There has been more hot pack asphalt added, yes. Now about 20" diameter. I suspect it will sink into the street in a few more days. I'll keep you posted.
