Description
Every Sunday, the East Bay Rats and other motorcyclists tear up and down Claremont Ave causing a nuisance with their excessively loud bikes. They are in blatant and repeated violation of Municipal Code 8.18.010 - "Excessive and annoying noises prohibited"
Why is this not enforced?
The noise rattles windows and houses and frequently sets off car alarms. I urge the City of Oakland to do something to reduce this public nuisance. I also note that the motto of the East Bay Rats motorcycle club is "Ruining it for everyone else since 1994"
