Once again there are visible multiple different speed limit signs in the same small area; westbound on left side 35 mph, right side 45 mph and 55 mph.

In the interest of safety, given the volume of traffic, and the multiple intersecting entries/exits between US 431 and Audobon Lane along the Bypass' east- and westbound lanes, the speed limit for that area of the Bypass should be 45 mph.

Along Old US 431 close to Audubon Lane, the 35 MPH sign is a school zone speed limit that is enforceable while the school flashers are on, during other time periods, the speed limit is 55MPH as per the city speed zone ordinance. Once you cross US 431, (along Sutton Rd ) the speed limit changes to 45 MPH. The currently posted speed limits correctly reflect the driving patterns/characteristics of the motorists along this stretch of roadway.
