This is more an issue for the local PD but I noticed in the past decade an increase in bad drivers from Massachusetts; people speeding, being disrespectful, running red lights, wrong turns, u-turns, as well as cutting other drives off. I like tourists, college students, and visitors from other states but seriously this is not Boston. I always thought more highly of Burlington. It might be custom for people to be pushy and shovey in Mass and NY but not here. I loved it here for so long because of the peaceful and intellectual lifestyle. I loved up state NH and parts of Maine too but in the past decade it's getting worse and I believe that for our safety and reputation our law enforcement needs to curb the bad drivers from out of state. It's only going to be a bad influence on your young drivers today. Im not asking PD to target Mass plates unfairly but to keep an eye on bad drivers from Mass. Each time they run lights, cut someone off, or race threw a pedestrian cross walk without being ticketed just turns our city into another Boston.
