Description
Dead fish - large size - floating at bank of pond, near pin marked on map. People fishing there said it was not there on 7/28. Believe it should be removed. Fishermen indicated it had just floated to the edge of the pond, with strong odor increasing as you approach it.

Apparently the solution the city has commented on is to "wait for it to rain."
This is not a viable solution.
A floating aeration pump is needed as the water is too low for the fountain pumps to work.
This public park has been taken care of by the citizens of this city, every single day. When I am there, people care, picking up trash and even going into the pond themselves to retrieve large items of floating debris the City of Malden has ignored.
The way the pond is being handled and the lack of appropriate action is absurd and absolute negligence.
Stop ignoring the situation by "waiting for it to rain". Please take the responsibility for the ponds ecosystem the City has so blatantly ignored; even when corrections are made, they are just band aids...
The solution is simple: FLOATING AERATION PUMP. Rent one, obviously people here care more than the City. If this is a financial issue, shame on you. This is a public park that people enjoy everyday and the burden of taking care of the park has slowly been put on the back of the citizens.

The City is ignoring all new comments about this situation.
I think someone should go up the chain of command and contact the Mayor.
This is getting ridiculous.

I've been in contact with some people ... I will drop the Mayor a note myself. Do you know about the Park Cleanup tomorrow @ 10:00 AM?
