Thank you for your request. The legal street name of Foothill Parkway does not begin until you are west of Bedford Canyon Road. Thus, using El Cerrito Road is accurate for the exits. However, it is reasonable to assume that adding a directional sign pointing towards Foothill may help eliminate confusion. Traffic Engineering will contact Caltrans to ask permission and determine where directional signs could be placed as they will have to be installed in Caltrans Right-of-Way.

UPDATE: We are working with Caltrans through their processes to have directional guide signs added to the bottom of both off-ramps. Thank you.
