Really do we have to worry about these minor things when we have more dire worries like bringing in jobs that pay more than 7.60 an hour .

Problem solved. Monitor removed. BTW moving so putting things out that work that some folks can have for free, is better than taking it to goodwill and those same folks having to pay hard earned money for something I am just giving away. Well.... I guess it is easy to be judgmental and poking your nose in when maybe a less fortunate person or persons could benefit. Just sayin'. Have a blessed day ya'all.

Thank you for your prompt response. While you may want someone to re-use this, the facts are that most of the electronics placed at the curb are removed by the so called "scrappers". Many of these scrappers remove the sale-able metals from the pieces then throw out the rest, often times leaving the junk parts in the woods and along the roads. It is always best to recycle these items, so there are no harmful effects that we get with dumping. Note; not all scrappers are unethical, but you cannot know who is picking up these items from the curb, with the increasing numbers of these items being found along the roads, in vacant lots, and along the hiking / biking trails, best practice is recycling, and its the law.
