Large pile of recycling placed between sidewalk and curb. This is just one example of a pervasive problem in the Museum District. I applaud the city initiative to encourage more recycling, but it seems many residents are not aware of how the new system works---i.e. that recycling is now collected from the larger blue-lidded cans in the same location as regular super cans. New cans were delivered 2 weeks ago and many of those are still in front of buildings, in many cases, beside the old bins which is creating an unattractive street view and will not ensure pick-up. HELP!
