Description
Please have a common courtesy class with your parks employees who are working at Nash Square today. I was walking up the sidewalk across from City Hall along Nash Square, and the employee with the blower not only didn't turn off the blower, he turned around and blew dirt right in my face as I tried to get off the sidewalk and walk around. I wasn't the only one. Two other people behind me experienced the same thing. When we all were at the corner waiting to talk, we talked about the lack of manners, unbelievable. How rude!

For the record, this about 2pm-2:15pm on 5/02/2012. The rude employee with the blower was a white male.
Lunch Time Walker
As someone who walks downtown quite a bit I will have to say this is not something that happens often. Usually P&R staff stops their blowers & weed eaters when someone approaches them.
Closed City of Raleigh
I will follow up with our Parks staff. We do train our employees to be courteous when performing maintenance in public places. We'll make sure to re-emphasize that.
