While I agree there are numerous intersections where taking left turn at rush hour traffic can be extremely difficult. However the types of signals that are installed at intersections are required to follow standards established by Federal Highway. When that section of Main Street was designed and re-evaluated following its completion there are simply not a sufficient number of vehicles taking a left at that intersection to meet the Federal Highways regulations to install a left turn arrow. So unfortunately the Town cannot install a left turn arrow at that intersection based on current conditions.
